WhatsApp is working on a Document caption feature for beta Android users. The Platform has submitted this update through the Google Play Beta Program with this update the current version reaches to 2.22.21.2. In this update, the platform is developing a feature that lets you share documents with a caption.
This feature will be available to users in the coming update of the app. WhatsApp is regularly undergoing updates with exciting new features for the app. As one of the most in-demand messenger and chat support software, it has to keep updated for a better user experience. In a previous report released by WAbetaInfo two months back, the news tracker reported a new documents feature. The leading WhatsApp news portal mentioned that after a future update, WhatsApp beta Desktop clients will be able to attach a caption while sharing any document.
In the same article, the news portal also shared a screenshot of the feature taken from the Desktop App. It further mentioned that the Instant messaging app was working to develop the same feature for beta Android and beta iOS users too. This current beta update brings confirmation that the developers’ team is actually working to introduce this feature for the beta Android app.

WhatsApp new Document caption feature
WABetaInfo has also shared a screenshot of this current development. In the screenshot, you can see that after the document caption is released in the future you will be able to share your document with a caption. At present, the Company allows you to share a document without any caption.
You can only send and receive images, videos, and GIFs with a caption. This feature will help you to find your documents instantly by just typing the caption within the screen text field. So you can search for the documents that you need very easily only by remembering the document’s caption.
