WhatsApp has rolled out the status reactions feature for stable iOS users. The platform has submitted this update through the app store. This feature is available under the 22.21.75 version in Apple App Store. According to the reports in this update, the Meta-owned company is finally enabling the ability to react to status updates to all users.

Whatsapp’s status reactions enabled for iOS users

WhatsApp news portal, WAbetaInfo reported the ability to react to the status updates feature. The Report mentioned that this feature was then rolled out only to some select beta Android and beta iOS users who install the latest version of the app.

In this report, the news source mentions that later the platform enabled this feature for some select stable users also. However, it was just released for testing purposes. In this current update, the platform has finally made this feature available to all iOS users in the stable version.

According to the official changelog report of the company several other new features have also been rolled out along with this feature. WAbetaInfo has also released a screenshot of this new feature. In the available image, you can see that now it is possible to react to status updates with the provided emojis.

WhatsApp reactions emojis

At present, there are 8 emojis available for reaction. They are Heart eyes, tears of joy face, open mouth face, crying face, folded hands, party popper, and 100 points. The report further mentions that though the company has made this feature available to everyone still it may not be visible to some of you at present.

To check if the feature has already been enabled for your WhatsApp account, just try replying to any status update. If all the above-mentioned eight emojis appear on your screen after you swipe up, that means the new status reaction feature is available to you.
