That enables users to share voice notes again. However, it’s essential to note that disabling this feature does not prevent others from sending you video messages.

How to Disable Instant Video Messages

To disable ‘Instant Video Messages,’ follow these simple steps:

  1. Open WhatsApp and tap on the three-dot menu at the top right of the screen.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Settings’ section within the app.
  3. In the ‘Settings,’ go to the ‘Chats’ section.
  4. Here, you will find a toggle option named ‘Instant Video Messages.’
  5. Simply turn off this toggle to disable the functionality.

Availability and Compatibility

While the ‘Instant Video Messages’ feature is not available for all as it’s limited to Beta users WhatsApp for iOS version 23.18.1.70 and WhatsApp for Android version 2.23.18.21.

This feature is scheduled to roll out soon in the upcoming days after the final test. Notably, it might take some time to appear on our devices as it’s still under development.
