WhatsApp is rolling out New Text Status Update Interface for Beta Android users. The platform has submitted this update through the Google Play beta program with this update the version reaches 2.22.11.13. According to the reports, some lucky users may also receive the same feature in some previous WhatsApp updates.

WhatsApp’s New Text Status Update Interface
Two months back WhatsApp introduced a new privacy feature to manage your status settings available in a future update. A few days back the WABetaInfo announced that WhatsApp was working on a feature that brings the ability to give quick reactions to status updates.
After that in another report, the tracker mentioned one more under-development feature for status updates which will reportedly show status updates within the chat list.
After this series of under-development features and the release of a new footer for end-to-end encryption. In this new update, the platform finally brings a status update feature which is already available for testing to some select Android Beta testers.
WhatsApp has placed the emoji, text, and background color selector from the bottom to the top of the screen making the section look the same as the WhatsApp iOS interface. The report further mentions that if the redesigned caption view feature is already available to your WhatsApp account. It will also be visible while creating a text update.
What’s New for Users
With the new caption view feature, you can easily change the audience for your current text status. However, to adjust the audience for your future status updates, you need to access your WhatsApp privacy settings.
Currently, this update is available only to a select group of Android Beta testers. However, more users can expect to see this feature in the coming days.
