View Once is a feature that allows you to send photos and videos that can only be viewed one time. After the recipient opens the photo or video, it will automatically delete itself from the chat.
This feature is great for sending sensitive or temporary content that you don’t want to be saved or shared. The View Once feature was initially released for some beta users with the Android 2.21.14.3 version. But now, it has been rolled out to all WhatsApp users.
How Does Work WhatsApp View Once Feature
To use this feature, first you have to update your WhatsApp. If your WhatsApp is not updated, then go to Google Play Store and update WhatsApp. After updating, follow the steps given below to use WhatsApp view once feature.
Step 1. First of all open your WhatsApp and open the chat of whomever you want to send photo or video.
Step 2. After this click on the camera icon. And select whatever photo or video you want to send.
Step 3. After this you will see the icon of (1) under the image, click on it. On clicking on that option, you will get a message of “photo set to view once”.
Step 4. Now you click on the send key button.
