WhatsApp is rolling out the ability to undo ‘delete for me’ messages on iOS, Android, and Desktop devices. In this update, the Meta-owned platform is reportedly announcing a feature that will let you retrieve a message that you have deleted by mistake. The platform had already made some announcements regarding this feature in a previous update.
At that time the ability to retrieve a deleted message was made available only to some select beta users. In this current update, WhatsApp is releasing it to everyone. According to the reports, all users using the latest version of WhatsApp for iOS, Android, and Desktop can use this feature.

WhatsApp rolling out the ability to undo ‘delete for me’
Earlier the Instant Messaging app had released an Article on WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.18.73 update. In this article, the leading WhatsApp news source WABetaInfo reported about Undo the ‘delete for me’ feature. The company then rolled it out only to some users for testing.
In this feature, you get the ability to undo delete messages that you might have deleted by mistake. For this, you get a limited time period of a few seconds. Recently WhatsApp head, Will Cathcart twitted through his official account that now the feature will be available to everyone.

In the image, you can see that the platform has added the ‘UNDO’ button after the ‘Message deleted for me’ notification. After this, your deleted message will be automatically retrieved. When you by mistake delete a message for you, immediately a snack bar will appear with the undo button.

As mentioned earlier, the ability to undo the delete for me feature is available to all WhatsApp Android, iOS, and Desktop users. For Android, users have to install the 2.22.24.73 version. For iOS users, it is available in the 22.19.75 version, but some users may also receive it in a previous 22.24.81 update.
