According to the report, the company started working on this feature after it posted a tweet about how you would feel if by mistake you delete any message only for you instead of deleting it for everyone. In this current beta update, the company is finally releasing the ability to undo the delete message feature to some select Android Beta testers.

The leading WhatsApp new source has also released a screenshot of the feature. In the screenshot, you can see that after this update when you attempt to delete any message a snack bar will show up. In the snack bar on one side, there will be written ‘message deleted’ and on another side, there will be a new ‘UNDO’ option.

The report also mentions that some lucky users may also get the same feature in a previous update of the app. If the snack bar does not appear when you select the ‘delete for me’ option after installing the latest version, it means this feature is still not activated for your WhatsApp account.

However, more activations are on the line in the coming weeks, so you can expect to get it soon in a future update. For the more latest news and updates on upcoming new features and developments of WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, web/desktop, and Windows stay tuned with us.
