Apple has launched Apple Intelligence for the Vision Pro headset. The new update brings smart tools and visual features. Users now enjoy better writing help and content discovery.
However, the experience still misses real visual intelligence. Despite improvements, Vision Pro doesn’t feel much different. Apple needs deeper visual features for real change.
New AI Tools Arrive with visionOS 2.4 Update
Apple’s Vision Pro now supports Apple Intelligence features. This comes with the new visionOS 2.4 update. Users get smart tools like Writing Tools and Genmoji. Also included are Image Playground and better content search.
Writing Tools help with daily writing and editing tasks. You can rewrite, proofread, summarize, or compose messages easily. The feature works inside apps using ChatGPT help.
Smart Reply is now better in Mail and Messages. It shows suggestions for quick replies and saves time. Long messages can be summarized quickly using AI tools.
In the Photos app, natural search makes things faster. Type what you want, and it finds related pictures. For example, “trip to Goa” shows travel memories instantly.
There is also a “Create a Memory Movie” feature. It turns your photo sets into short themed videos. The AI understands your description and builds a short movie.
Image Playground and Genmoji Make Creativity Fun
Image Playground helps make pictures using text prompts. You just type a short line, and visuals appear. Family photos can be used to make unique images.
Genmoji creates emojis based on what you describe. Just write a word, and your emoji is made. You can use them in stickers or message replies.
All these features use Apple’s strong privacy system. AI actions happen mostly on your device locally. If the cloud is used, Apple’s Private Cloud Compute runs it. Your personal data stays private and secure always.
Guest Access and Spatial Gallery Are Big Highlights
Though AI features are great, other updates shine more. The improved Guest User mode is very helpful. Guests can now log in from their iPhone. Owners can pick apps guests are allowed to use.
You can also use View Mirroring with AirPlay support. This lets your Vision Pro screen appear elsewhere. Great for sharing the experience with family or friends.
The Spatial Gallery app offers an amazing 3D view. It has handpicked content like art, music, and sports. You can enjoy spatial videos, panoramas, and short clips.
Famous artists like Bad Bunny and Charli xcx appear. Behind-the-scenes content from Apple Originals is included too. You can also see media from brands like Porsche.
New immersive videos are coming to the platform. Two known ones are “VIP: Yankee Stadium” and “Bono: Stories of Surrender.” These are offered in both 2D and immersive formats.
The Vision Pro iPhone app adds even more support. It helps users discover apps and explore new tips. It also allows easier switching between phone and headset.
Useful AI Features, But No Game-Changing Shift Yet
Apple Intelligence adds value, but nothing too new. Vision Pro still feels mostly the same as before.
Typing remains slow without a real keyboard setup. So tools like Writing Tools are useful now. Smart Reply helps during long use without much typing.
But creative tools are harder to enjoy fully. Genmoji and Playground need good prompts, which takes time. It’s easier on the iPhone or iPad than the Vision Pro.
These new updates don’t really affect buying decisions. If you didn’t want one before, that won’t change.
What’s still missing is real visual intelligence. No eye tracking or object recognition is available yet. That’s the true game-changer users still hope for.
Apple has brought new AI to the Vision Pro. visionOS 2.4 makes the headset smarter and creative. Features like Writing Tools and Spatial Gallery improve use. Still, nothing feels truly different or revolutionary yet.
Without real visual AI, the experience feels limited. Apple must bring visual intelligence for true transformation.
