Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic Series Specs Leaked: Design and Display
Samsung will launch three models this year—Watch 8, Classic, and Ultra. Watch 8 will come in 40mm and 44mm dial sizes. The 40mm model has a 1.34-inch sAMOLED display.
The 44mm version offers a 1.47-inch sAMOLED screen. Watch 8 Classic has a 46mm dial and 1.34-inch screen. The Watch Ultra model features a 47mm dial and 1.47-inch display.
All watches use Super AMOLED screens with 327ppi density. They will support 3000 nits brightness for outdoor visibility. Watch 8 is made with Aluminum Armor and Sapphire Glass. The classic model is built with Stainless steel and Sapphire Glass. Watch Ultra uses Titanium and Sapphire Glass for extra strength.
Watch 8 includes a silicone sports band for everyday use. Classic comes with a premium hybrid strap by default. Watch Ultra offers an extreme sports strap in the box.
Processor, Storage, and Battery
All three watches feature the new 3nm Exynos W1000 chipset. They run on One UI 8 Watch based on Wear OS 6. Watch 8 and Classic come with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Some versions of Classic and Ultra have 64GB storage.
The 40mm Watch 8 has a 325mAh battery capacity. The 44mm model houses a bigger 435mAh battery. Watch 8 Classic includes a 445mAh battery inside. Watch Ultra packs the largest battery with a 590mAh size.
Sensors, Connectivity, and Price
All models support health and fitness tracking features. They have sensors like Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and Light Sensor. Other sensors include ECG, BIA, Geomagnetic, PPG, and Altimeter. Only Watch Ultra includes an 86-decibel emergency siren.
Watch 8 and Classic come in Bluetooth and 4G models. Watch Ultra will be available only in 4G version. Watch 8 comes in Graphite and Silver color options. Classic is available in Black and White shades. Watch Ultra has four colors; Titanium Blue, Gray, White, Silver.
