The Ministry of Railways has launched the RailOne super app. It was launched by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. This new app joins all railway services in one place. It is developed by Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS).
RailOne app lets users book reserved, unreserved, and platform tickets. Users can check PNR status and view coach positions too. You can also check freight and parcel service information.
The app offers real-time train tracking features. You will know train delays and expected arrival time. This helps passengers plan their journey better.
RailOne also connects with Rail Madad service for support. Passengers can raise complaints or send feedback. It helps solve issues quickly and easily.
Food ordering is also available through the app. You can order food to your seat during travel. Many partner vendors are listed inside the app.

New Indian Railways Reforms Starting from July 1
With the launch, new rules also came into effect. From July 1, you need an Aadhaar-verified IRCTC ID for Tatkal tickets. This change stops misuse by ticket agents. It helps real passengers get tickets fairly.
Indian Railways has also changed train fares. Non-AC tickets will rise by ₹0.01 per kilometre. AC class tickets will rise by ₹0.02 per kilometre. Local and short-distance fares will not change.
Also, the first reservation chart is now prepared 8 hours before. Earlier, the chart was made 4 hours before departure.
