OnePlus is scheduled to unveil its highly anticipated Ace 5 series in China this month. While the precise launch date has yet to be announced, the firm has already launched pre-orders for the phones, offering fans a sneak peek at what’s in store. To add to the excitement, OnePlus is preparing to launch a new tablet and the Buds Ace 2 TWS earbuds alongside the Ace 5 portfolio.
Pre-Reservation
Pre-reservation listings for the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro are now available on the official website. These entries corroborate information such as RAM and storage capacities, as well as the processors that run these devices.
The Ace 5 will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the Ace 5 Pro will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.
Storage possibilities include 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and up to 1TB for the Pro model.
The official renders show a streamlined design with a center punch-hole display and minimal bezels. The power button and volume rocker are easily located on the right edge, preserving OnePlus’ distinctive design.
Early adopters can receive personalized engravings, a year’s worth of extra screen protection, and other benefits. While the Ace series stays limited to China, the vanilla Ace 5 is expected to be released globally as the OnePlus 13R.
