POCO enthusiasts, mark your calendars! The much-anticipated POCO M7 Pro 5G and POCO C75 5G will be formally launched in India on December 17th at 12 PM. Flipkart has already launched separate microsites for these smartphones, which adds to the excitement.
POCO’s December Announcement
Himanshu Tandon, the head of POCO India, has hinted at a significant announcement in December. His post on X references the taglines “Double the Madness” and “#DoubleTheMystery.” Although he didn’t give any clear suggestions, it fits nicely with reports concerning the POCO M7 Pro 5G and POCO C75 5G.
Interestingly, journalist Tushar Mehta tweeted a screenshot of Tandon responding “December” to a fan who inquired about the M7 Pro 5G’s launch date. In addition, 91mobiles reported that the C75 5G would arrive this month. So, all signals lead to a dual-device launch.
POCO M7 Pro 5G
The POCO M7 Pro 5G has already gone through certification sites such as the FCC and IMDA. According to reports, it is most likely a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 14 5G with dual cameras.
The FCC image shows a dual-tone back design with a distinctive square-shaped camera island, distinguishing it from its predecessor, the M6 Pro 5G, which had a simpler, single-tone finish.
Rumors also suggest:
- HyperOS is a software built on Android 14.
- Storage: The base model has 128GB.
POCO C75 5G Expected Features
The POCO C75 5G is expected to differ from the 4G variants offered in other areas. Based on leaks, here’s what we could see:
Processor: Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC.
Display: 6.88-inch HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Battery capacity: 5,160mAh with 18W charging.
Cameras: 50MP (primary), 2MP (macro), and 5MP (ultrawide) rear configuration.
These specifications are comparable to the Redmi A4 5G, however the camera arrangement is a definite standout.
