The highly anticipated OnePlus Ace 5 series, which includes the regular Ace 5 and its premium brother, Ace 5 Pro, is slated to ship in China this month. While the firm has not declared an official debut date, new leaks are keeping fans on edge. A fresh promotional image, purportedly from an offline store, has surfaced online, providing an insight into the series’ design, color possibilities, and crucial characteristics.
Design & Features
The leaked image shows that the OnePlus Ace 5 series would have a sleek, modern appearance with a circular camera module positioned on the left side of the back panel. The smartphones have a boxy design with rounded corners, giving them a luxury feel.
The Ace 5 will apparently be available in three gorgeous colors: white, green, and black, with the Ace 5 Pro in purple, white, and black. Both phones will have a straight display with a 120Hz refresh rate, resulting in buttery-smooth scrolling and gaming. Furthermore, the screen is stated to provide eye protection, DC dimming, and an amazing 4,500nits peak brightness for stunning graphics even in direct sunshine.
Powerful performance
The OnePlus Ace 5 series is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 chipsets. The Ace 5 Pro will be powered by the high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, while the basic Ace 5 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This series claims exceptional performance for gaming, multitasking, and general use.
The devices also have a Wi-Fi G1 chip, which could improve networking speed and stability.
Massive batteries
Battery life will not be an issue with these gadgets. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is expected to include a 6,100mAh battery with 100W fast charging, while the normal Ace 5 may have a slightly larger 6,415mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
Availability & Launch
While the Ace 5 Pro will remain exclusive to China, the basic Ace 5 is set to be renamed as the OnePlus 13R for worldwide markets, including India. Interestingly, the OnePlus 13 series is expected to launch in India on January 7th, raising the possibility that the Ace 5 will also make an appearance.
